David and I are raising funds to help an extraordinary organization called Vision Builders. 100% of the donations go to help those in need. Our goal is to raise $3,000 and we are asking for gifts large or small to help us reach this goal.

Vision Builders is a U.S. based organization that carefully selects partners from around the world who are native to and living in their regions, and who have already started small humanitarian projects in the fields of health care, children’s education and job training for women. We work with these proven leaders to plan and fund next step expansion of their efforts to better meet the overwhelming needs of extremely impoverished communities.

This year, Vision Builders is raising funds to develop a community center in a village close to the Varanasi slum where they have been working for the past 4 years. It will provide a home for the orphans and a free medical clinic as well as meeting places for educational programs and women's empowerment classes.
