Having moved back East from warm and toasty Austin, TX I have realized that I am at one with the cold coldness of New England! I'd much rather jump into a freezing cold kind of ocean rather that a warm Gulf of Mexico kind of ocean. I am plunging on February 16, 2008 to support Special Olympics Massachusetts because I believe the program changes lives and promotes acceptance and inclusion within our communities. Special Olympics athletes never pay a cent to participate in any of the 26 different sports offered, so we are raising critical dollars to fund the year-round sports training and athletic competitions for athletes in Massachusetts with intellectual disabilities.
