Billy and Lauren Khourie
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.
This is a fundraising effort to celebrate the life of Billy Khourie and to honor his little sister, Lauren. Lauren was born with Prader Willi syndrome, a complex and rare genetic disorder affecting appetite, growth, metabolism, cognitive function and behavior.
Anyone that knew Billy knew how much he loved his little sister. The picture shown at the left was taken during Lauren's high school prom. When Billy was in college he returned home to accompany his little sister to the dance. He spent the entire evening dancing with his sister so she would have a high school prom she would cherish and remember. He would do anything for Lauren. In order to further Billy's efforts, and continue his legacy of giving, a group of Billy's friends have decided to participate in the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon to raise money for the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association.
Donated funds will go to the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (USA), which will use half of the donation proceeds for research and send the other half to the Oklahoma chapter of PWSA to be used for scholarships for children to attend the "Make Promises Happen Camp." Please help us raise money for a cause that was very close to Billy's heart.
More information about Prader-Willi syndrome can be found at www.pwsausa.org.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support.
