We walk for those who aren't able. We walk for those who are stigmatized. We walk for those who have lost their battle with HIV/AIDS. We walk with the knowledge that one day we will live in a world with zero deaths, zero stigma and zero new infections.
2012 marks the 24th AIDS Walk in Kansas City and yet there is still much work to be done. All the money raised for AIDS Walk stays here in Kansas City and helps with the following:
Every $100 we raise could feed an in-need client at Good Samaritan Project two meals a day for two weeks.
Every $50 we raise could provide transportation for 8 medical appointments for a resident at Hope Care Center.
Every $25 we raise could provide cold medications to someone living with HIV/AIDS for 10 weeks through the Kansas City Free Health Clinic.
Help us help those in need right here in Kansas City.
