Yes, I'm plunging 24 times in 24 hours during the SUPER Plunge to benefit Special Olympics Illinois!

As many of our friends and family know, Colleen and I are totally crazy but, there is only one thing that could get us to jump into FREEZING COLD Lake Michigan in February and that is for our little Niamh.  Niamh has had to overcome many challenges in her short 3yr life but she just keeps on fighting.  When Niamh was hospitalized for the first time at 9mo the doctors told us that she may never walk or talk.  The strides that she makes through her strong will and determination are mind blowing....She now can walk and is able to communicate quite well.  Niamh is always the first to smile and when you mention Special Olympics she starts squealing and clapping from excitement . Though she is still a "Young Athlete", Colleen and I know what a difference Special Olympics has made in all of our lives.  It is for that reason that we will brave those frigid waters!
