As Director of the Franklin County Emergency Management Agency, I have challenged my staff to assist the Special Olympics in an effort to raise money to support Special Olympics activities. The agency's Division of Emergency Preparedness has assembled a great fundraising team for this year's polar plunge. On March 6th, 2010 our fundraising team will take to waters of Rend Lake in the 2010 Special Olympics Polar Plunge! The only way we can make this event a success is through donations and support from people who care like you!
