MARCH OF DIMES FOUNDATION

Tough Mudder
Training buddies: Courtney Smith

Tough Mudder

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page! In honor of Crosby's homecoming, we wanted to raise money for the March of Dimes foundation who supports premature babies around the world! We have felt so blessed by the care he has received and all of the love, support and prayers from family and friends. We wanted to give back for all the other children in NICU's around the country whose families are undergoing the same struggles that we have over the last weeks.

Courtney and I are going to participate in a Tough Mudder event and wanted to do this in support of the March of Dimes. The March of Dimes is a global leader in the care and research of premature babies and those born with birth defects. The race itself, as described on the website: "Tough Mudder is not your average lame mud run or spirit-crushing ‘endurance’ road race. It’s Ironman meets Burning Man, and it is coming to a location near you. Our 10-12 mile obstacle courses are designed by British Special Forces to test all around strength, stamina, mental grit, and camaraderie. Forget finish times. Simply completing a Tough Mudder is a badge of honor." Should be a good time! Court and I are going to compete as a team. Thankfully the race isn't until October so we have some time to train. If you're curious you can check out the race at http://toughmudder.com/

Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support our fundraising efforts. Even if you can only contribute your prayers for Crosby and our family that would be more than enough. We love you all. If you want to follow on Crosby's progress you can check out our blog at www.zvilletocville.blogspot.com!

Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!

We have been so blessed by Crosby's birth and all of your support. We are so grateful for God's presence with us and we can't say it any better than this...

Psalm 139

1 You have searched me, LORD,
and you know me.
2 You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar.
3 You discern my going out and my lying down;
you are familiar with all my ways.
4 Before a word is on my tongue
you, LORD, know it completely.
5 You hem me in behind and before,
and you lay your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too lofty for me to attain.
7 Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
10 even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.
11 If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me
and the light become night around me,”
12 even the darkness will not be dark to you;
the night will shine like the day,
for darkness is as light to you.
13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
17 How precious to me are your thoughts,[a] God!
How vast is the sum of them!
18 Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand—
when I awake, I am still with you.
