Walking for a Cure!!!!
Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC) is a genetic disorder that causes tumors to form in many different organs, primarily in the brain, eyes, heart, kidney, skin and lungs. At least two children born each day will have tuberous sclerosis complex. Current estimates place tuberous sclerosis complex-affected births at one in 6,000. Presently, there is no cure, however, several doctors are conducting research studies in hopes of developing one.
Rylee was diagnosed with TSC at 2mths old. She has 3 cardiac rhabdomyomas (tumors in her heart), 2 tumors in her brain and Epilepsy. Rylee is now 3yrs old and attends a preschool program 4 days a week. Rylee is your typical 3yrs. old girl who loves to dance, cook, play with dolls, try on jewelry, interact with her siblings, peers and sing except she has numerous doctors in both RI amd MA. Rylee also takes 2 medications 2x/daily for seizure control. I strongly believe Rylee is thriving because of the continued support, prayers and love everyone has and continues to offer.
Please help raise money for Rylee and others with TSC by supporting us on June 4th for a Step to a Cure Walk-a-thon in Guilford, CT. Many doctors and researchers are working on a cure for TSC.
Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page. I hope you can support me and my family for the walk. My parents, Kristen and Michael, have become very actively involved in various ways supporting the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance and learning about Tuberous Sclerosis. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to my fundraising efforts. Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too! Your donation means alot to me!
Love, Rylee
Team Rylee would like to thank Super Stallion Energy Drink for sponsoring us again this year!!!
