We've taken on the challenge of "Freezin' for a Reason" to raise money for Special Olympics Seminole County. As many of you know, I participated in the Polar Plunge 2 years ago and raised over $500 for Special Olympics all while freezing my fanny off in 59 degree water in the wave pool at Aquatica. Last year my daughter Maria also raised over $500 by following in my footsteps as a plunger. This year, we have decided to take on the plunge together as a father-daughter team. I know all of you think we're crazy, but it just comes naturally-- remember we are the "Fun Family"!

Although Jimmy is the real star athlete of the family in Special Olympics, this organization has been a major part of my life as well. I have volunteered as the head coach for the Seminole County Aquatics team and I have also helped out as coach of the Golf team and volunteered with the Powerlifting team.

Any amount you can give will be helpful. If you have donated to the Polar Plunge before and you would like to give to both Maria and I, you can give us the same amount you donated last year, but divide it in half, donating half to Maria's page, and half to my page.
