On February 18, 2009, Ava's arrival welcomed our family into a world we never knew we would be a part of, but are so much better off because of it.  At 6 months old Ava has taught us more about life than anyone ever could.  This past summer we spent a total of 29 days in and out of the hospital with Ava, but it was time well spent because she is now growing so strong, happy, and healthy.  The Lord has certainly given us many blessings.

Depending on Ava's health at the time, we may or may not actually attend the Buddy Walk event, but we certainly hope to!  If you don't already have plans on October 10, then tentatively plan on joining Team Ava in Fresno for this fun-filled day.  We would be thrilled to have a large group of friends and family supporting Ava at our first Buddy Walk! 

We are eager to join the Fresno Area Down Syndrome Society in educating people about how wonderful life with Down syndrome can be and are fundraising to support this organization.  We hope you can support our efforts!
