About Team World Vision Ozarks
We are the Southwest Missouri division of Team World Vision. We are a group of twenty-five local runners who have committed to running the Chicago Marathon on October 11th. We are running in an effort to raise awareness and funds for relief work in Africa.
About Team World Vision
Team World Vision started in 2006 with just 90 runners at the Chicago Marathon and has grown to over 2 thousand runners at races across the country. These athletes dedicate time and energy into being able to complete running, cycling, and triathlon events while raising awareness and funds for relief work in Africa.
About World Vision
The actual relief work is done through Christian humanitarian organization World Vision. World Vision works in over 100 countries around the globe and has made a positive impact on nearly 100 million lives. (For more information visit http://www.worldvision.org/.)
