Salvatore Matteo was born on December 1, 2009 at 4:03pm. He was born five weeks early due to an intestinal blockage which required immediate surgery. Several weeks later, he was diagnosed with Down Syndrome. Salvatore has overcome many obstacles in his little life and I have the unique blessing to be witness to such miracles. I am the proud mother of an amazing little boy who brings joy to the people in his life. Help support a walk that promotes the awareness and acceptance of people of all ages with Down Syndrome.
