Aiding our the people in our community is something that is very important to me. That is one reason I choose to be apart of the Kansas City AIDS Walk this year.  t the end of 2006 there were close to 6,000 people in the KC area living with HIV. The money raised during this event stays here, in our communiy, providing many services for our citizians. Awareness of HIV and AIDS is very important in preventing the spread of this life threatening disease. Donating money may be hard for some right now I know. NO DONATION IS TOO SMALL!  If we can encourage more of our friends to make small donations, we can accomplish the same as if only a few make large ones.
