Hello everyone, thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising site. This is my first year riding in the Police Unity Tour and although I will admit that I am nervous about the 250+ mile ride (especially since the extent of my recent bicycling has been about 10 miles in the last 10 years... no joke as evidence by the most recent photo of me on a bike!!!) I am truly excited and looking forward to being a part of something so meaningful and close to my own heart.

The Police Unity Tour consists of Law Enforcement Officers from across the country riding to remember and honor fallen officers who have died in the line of duty. Team WNY is made up of your local Law Enforcement Officers who will be bicycling over 250 miles from Portsmouth VA to Washington D.C.
Our primary goal is to raise funds for The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington D.C. in addition to the operating costs for participating officers. As a team, our minimum fundraising goal is over $25,000 for the three day ride into Washington D.C. The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial is very close to the hearts of all of our team members and we sincerely appreciate all of your continued support.
The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund includes:
· Operating a Memorial and Visitors Center Museum
· Researching old and new deaths of officers killed in the line of duty
· Conducting ceremonies and other events at the Memorial
· Working towards preventing police fatalities
· Promoting the Memorial as a major tourist attraction
· Recognizing the anniversaries of all line of duty deaths
· Maintenance of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial
· Creation of the National Law Enforcement Officers Museum
