4/22/12 - Update - **Thank you to all the donors, Sammy has met her original goal of $2200.00!!!  Jeff has a great point, and all the donations are going directly to Camp No Limits, so any funds raised in excess of what Sammy needs will go to help other children attend camp!!!  So the more funds we collect the more kids will benefit!!  All of your generosity has amazed us and made us beyond happy!!!  Thank you again!**

 

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!  I am Chantel, Sammy's Mom, and I would dearly love to take Sammy to Camp No Limits.  Sammy is a sweet and caring girl.  She never met a person she didn't want to make a friend.  Unfortunately for her, her amputation has made her physically different than most of the population, and has caused her to be painfully shy.  She has a nice circle of close friends which is great, but she enjoys meeting new people when she can muster up the courage.  I would love to take her to camp this year and meet other children and families who deal with the same struggles she does.  I feel meeting people with the same disability will help her build her self confidence, and also give her more resources to meet people who can relate to her diffence and her daily life struggles.
