My fundraising page is dedicated to my brother, Rick, who died of AIDS a few years ago. There isn't one day that passes when I don't think of him. He was my little brother and I loved him more than words can express. Dedicating my page in his memory brings him closer to me and serves as another reminder of how much I miss him. Death leaves us with a feeling of emptiness, but memories fill us up. Like Rick, I am passionate about a few causes. Human trafficking and sexual exploitation is one of them. I know I can make a difference by doing something as simple as walking 5k to raise money for the victims of this horrible crime. It is true that as long as there is a demand for prostitution, it will exist. I can't do anything about the lowlife, who for their own gratification, take advantage of these helpless women and children, but I can do something to help the victims. Monies raised will enable The Barnaba Institute to provide personal hygienic products, food, water, clothing, and most of all-hope. Through Outreach we provide rescue, counseling, skills training, and referral to safe housing. Please help me help them. No amount is too small, but please be as generous as you can.
