Hi, Everyone,

For years you've heard me talk about the Humane Society of Broward County. Seven years ago I began volunteering one day a week sending newly adopted animals home with their new families. Now I also volunteer with the PAL program - socializing and calming dogs and puppies to help them become more adoptable and comfortable in their new homes. Here's a picture of one of those guys.

When Kitty Kat died, Bob and I decided to become a foster family until we are ready to adopt. Last week we brought home two under-age and under-weight kittens. Onyx and Sweet Pea need special foods and medicine for a while. They are adorable and VERY active! Sorry, but they won't hold still long enough to get a decent picture!

I have enormous respect for the staff and volunteers and the work they do. Now I'm writing to ask you to sponsor me in our annual Walk for the Animals to raise money to support our programs.
