<b>Description:</b> The AA&MDSIF assists patients and their families suffering from aplastic anemia, myelodysplastic syndromes,PNH and all bone marrow failure diseases. <br><br><b>Mission:</b> The AA&MDSIF was founded in 1983 to help patients and their families suffering from aplastic anemia,myelodysplastic syndromes and other bone marrow failure diseases such as PNH. The foundation is comprised of a dedicated volunteer Board of Directors, distinguished volunteer Medical Board of Directors, and hundreds of volunteers around the world. AA&MDSIF's mission is to serve as a resourceresource for patient assistance, advocacy and support; provide educational materials and updated medical information; and fund medical research to find effective treatment and cure for bone marrow failure diseases.
