I've joined the Fort Dodge Police Department's "Hawaii 5-O" to help raise money for Special Olympics.  We're going to be at Kennedy Lake on November 4th and participate in the Polar Plunge law enforcement fundraiser.  We all get to jump in the water -- isn't that "COOL!"  This year since I've just had surgery, I will still be fundraising for the event but I won't be plunging.  They have a group called "Too Chicken to Plunge"  so volunteers can still join in and help raise money for this worthy cause.  Come on out and watch -- it will be a blast!  It's all for a good cause so even if you aren't able to come out and support me, I hope you'll be able to help me reach my goal and donate to this worthwhile cause.  Thanks for your support!
