My 25 yr old son, Brian, was diagnosed with a brain tumor in February, 2008.  After going through two brain surgeries, radiation and chemo treatments, he returned to college to finish his degree, and is now working as a Mechanical Engineer at Goodrich Aerospace. To honor Brian and his accomplishments, I am once again participating in the Strain for the Brain 5K Run/Walk on May 14th, to raise money for brain tumor research.  My hope is that more advanced and effective treatments will soon be found, and that someday there will be a cure for this devastating disease.  Your support in my efforts to help Brian and all those living with brain tumors is greatly appreciated!
