The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is an independent 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization whose mission is to achieve prevention and a cure for breast cancer in our lifetime by providing critical funding for innovative clinical and translational research at leading medical centers worldwide, and increasing public awareness about good breast health. Currently, more than 90 cents of every dollar donated is directed to breast cancer research and awareness programs. BCRF is currently funding 186 scientists from top universities and academic medical centers across the globe. The Foundation has received exceptional recognition from organizations that monitor and provide unbiased information on charities. Most notably, the American Institute of Philanthropy has awarded the Foundation its highest possible rating of A+.
