I'll be participating in the AIDS Walk RI 2005 on June 5 as part of the Miriam Hospital team. This is Rhode Island's largest AIDS-related event. The funds we raise from the walk will go to AIDS Project Rhode Island. I've been working in the Dept. of Immunology for 1.5 years and just began conducting rapid HIV tests in South Providence, so raising some money to increase HIV prevention and treatment services in RI is obviously important to me!
