    As some of you may know lupus is a devastating disease. It can cause extreme damage to vital organs and tissue when the body's immune system attacks itself.  I was diagnosed with lupus only a few years ago and I have been in a battle to try to stay healthy enough to live a normal life.  It is not an easy battle because there is very little research on lupus and there is no cure. 

  Lupus is not a disease that is well known in today's society.  Most people have never heard of lupus and that is why it is so important to be able to raise money to help educate people about this disease but to also help find a cure.  All of the money raised stays within this local community.  So today I am asking you for your help in a donation to the Pacific Northwest Chapter Lupus Foundation of America.  My friends and family will be joining me for the Mad Hatter Walk and Roll to help spread awareness of this disease.  Thank you for your donations and support!
