Uncle Sean's Fundraising Page
Sean Foye of Roselle Park, NJ is an endurance athlete, with the muscular strength and stamina to run marathons in stride. But his 8-year-old nephew, Adam, was born with Centronuclear Myopathy, a rare muscle disease that causes weakness, breathing problems and scoliosis. Fifty percent of children with this disease die by age 2; but Adam is beating the odds and taking his daily challenges in stride.
The Myotubular Myopathy Resource Group is a charity committed to making a difference with Centronuclear Myopathy. Sean, a Union County Sheriff’s Officer in NJ, is running the ING NYC Marathon on Sunday, November 1, 2009 to raise funds for this cause.
By making a donation, you can support Sean in making a difference for his nephew and other children worldwide. Please help.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
