Thank you for visiting my Polar Plunge fundraising page! As many of you know, for the past two years I have participated in the Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge as part of the effort to raise money for the Special Olympics. The freezin' time has come around again, and I couldn't be more excited!! Last year we were pirates and together were able to each reach our fundraising goals and make a significant contribution to the Special Olympics fund.
This year, in keeping with aquatic themes, we are going to dress up as Team Zissou and get to work together once again raising money for this great organization. We hope you want to be totally "A Squad" and help us raise as much as we can before Feb. 25th!
I’m collecting donations from family, friends, co-workers and anyone else who wants to support the nearly 21,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities and more than 6,000 Young Athletes ages 2-7 of Special Olympics Illinois! Your donations will help provide athletes with intellectual disabilities the chance to participate in year-round sports training and competition.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to the LETR Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Illinois.
Many thanks for your support – and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
