Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page in memory of my mother Laurel Drummond Johnson Lyons M.D. Team Muffin will participate in the Run/Walk for Someone Else's Life on October 2nd 2010. This will be Team Muffin's 2nd year participating in the run/walk to help in the fight against suicide. In 2009, Thanks to many generous and caring individuals our team was able to raise nearly 5 thousand dollars towards this very important cause.

As many of you know, my mother also known as Muffin took her own life in July of1994. She was a beautiful lady inside and out who made a postive impact on the lives around her. She was a well respected doctor, wife, mother, sister & friend. She is missed dearly every day...

My purpose in organizing Team Muffin, is to honor her life and to help raise money to help in the prevention of suicide. When someone takes their life they are directly affecting the lives around them...Saving one life could result in saving many lives. If you would make a donation in her name or consider participating in the Run/Walk for Somebody Else's Life, I as well as Team Muffin would be truly honored.
