Once again, I am participating in the Tacoma Humane Society Dog-A-Thon, and I would love your support. Most of you know I've had some extra time on my hands this year, and I've spent a lot of it at the shelter, helping cats find great homes. (I even got to foster the two pictured on this page for a weekend, 4 a.m. feedings and all!)

I've seen how hard the staff and volunteers work for every single animal that comes through the door. How a community treats its most vulnerable says a lot, and I am proud to be a part of this compassionate Humane Society community.
