Hi Friends....thanks for visiting my fundraising page for a cause so special to me!

After 5 years, I have spent countless hours trying to spread awareness, planning fundraisers (including this awesome walk!), writing grants, and trying to help expand a truly amazing organization...I can only say that my passion for The Andréa Rizzo Foundaiton comes truly from an angel. Andréa was a hero as a childhood cancer survivor, and she is STILL a hero, helping those with cancer & special needs, even after she was senselessly killed by a drunk driver at age 24. 

Since the very day I met Susan (her mother) Andrea has blessed my life in many ways, and has been "beside" me in spirit through many trying times. She will appear in the form of a rainbow, a sunflower, or truly divine intervention when I need it most.  Though I never had the opportunity to meet her, I feel as though Andrea and I are long lost friends, and I can't help but want to help her Dreams of helping fragile children through Dance Therapy come true.

Fragile children AcrossAmerica experience the transformative effects of dance as therapy in Andréa''s honor.  Simple movement helps them access, release and transform pain into power at the most vulnerable time in their lives.  It is a truly amazing program!
