Can you believe I'm running a half marathon??
Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page. I'm running a half-marathon on behalf of my son Matthew, and all the other children who are so lucky to have Phoenix Children's Hospital there when they need it.
Matthew has Williams Syndrome, which is a rare genetic disorder. With Williams Syndrome comes a variety of different challenges... developmental delays, sensory processing dysfunction, and a number medical problems. Matt has high blood pressure, eosinophilic esophagitis, some congenital heart defects, and multiple food allergies. Matt's fantastic geneticist, cardiologist, nephrologist (kidney doctor), and GI doctors are all associated with PCH. We've visited PCH for countless doctor visits, kidney ultrasounds, endoscopies, and even a teeth cleaning! The doctors and nurses at PCH are fantastic with Matthew, who has a great anxiety around doctors and hospitals. This is a small way that we can thank them for what they do for Matt, and all the other kids that unfortunately have to go to PCH.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to my fundraising efforts. If you'd feel more comfortable, you can also give me cash or a check made out to Phoenix Children's Hospital.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
I can't thank you enough for your support!!!
