No Wet Suits....What R They Thinking? 

Thank you for visiting my Polar Plunge fundraising page. They say anyone with a little guts and a warm heart can take the Plunge, and I am one of those folks.  I couldn't pass up this opportunity when Lori emailed me, and of course had to bring along Yvonne who has always wanted to take the Plunge!  My husband thinks I'm crazy, but I don't see him "manning" up to take the Plunge! 

Ladies, it's going to be a great time! Bundle up, bring your hot chocolate, and come out and join us.  Wear your Red White and Blue...support the Toys for Troops Plunge Team.

I’m collecting pledges from family, friends, co-workers and anyone else who wants to support the more than 22,000 athletes of Special Olympics Illinois! Your donations will help provide athletes with intellectual disabilities the chance to participate in year-round sports training and competition.

I will be joining over 3,600 people statewide who will voluntarily jump into freezing cold water in the middle of winter as we take part in the Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunges for Special Olympics Illinois.
