Welcome to my page! 

 Since 1999 I've been involved with mission trips through my church and since college I've tried to get involved.  Luckily, Southport Congregational Church has partnered with a wonderful organization, Simply Smiles, and I've had the opportunity to volunteer once again. 

 The past two summers I've traveled to La Plant, South Dakota with Simply Smiles to help the Lakota Sioux on the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe reservation.  Being there two summers in a row was amazing and I would love to go back in the years to follow in order to maintain a relationship with the wonderful people & children living there!

 I would love to bring my knowledge of health education to the community in order to improve nutrition & hygiene (especially oral hygiene).  The money raised through this site goes directly to Simply Smiles & all of the wonderful things that they do to help people in our community and in South Dakota & Mexico.  If I raise the most money, I get a FREE trip to the reservation this summer which, for a teacher, is GREATLY appreciated!  Whatever you can donate will be amazing, please pass this along to anyone who would be interested in supporting this organization.
