Our family has been touched and changed forever by this debilitating disease.

We lost Carol, our beautiful angel, five years ago.  She was only 38. She left an unbelievable emptiness in the lives and hearts of her husband and 3 beautiful children as well as her parents, 4 sisters, and countless other loving family members.  She was an inspiration and a hero who never lost her faith or hope.  She was a treasure to all who knew her and she will live on in our hearts forever.

Ron (Scotts older brother) is a 10 year survivor and considered a walking miracle by his neurologists.  With the help of his devoted wife, he continues to fight the good fight.  He is happiest when he is spending time with his 2 daughters and the rest of the family whenever possible.  He's a joy to his parents and a role model to his brother.  While he continues to struggle daily from the side effects of the tumor itself as well as the treatments, we are hopeful that continued research will someday find a cure.
