Scott Learned's Fundraising Page
On Sunday, October 4th, I will be participating in Bark in the Park to support the Chesapeake Humane Society. My support is in memory of Cheetah and Cleopatra, who both passed away last year. Cheetah and Cleopatra were abandoned as kittens and found in a dirty pet store in 1999. They were in a box with other kittens to be given away. With care and treatment Cleopatra lived to be a surprising nine years despite lifelong renal failure, possibly due to poisoning. Cheetah also lived nine years before suddenly developing inoperable stomach cancer. They both provided years of comfort for me and I will always remember them fondly.
Today I have the (famous) 22 lb Clawdius from the Humane Society and his buddy Simba. Both are beautiful orange tabbies, both experts in advanced napping techniques...
Please help me support the Chesapeake Humane Society. I have already contributed generously and your gift will help countless animals enjoy the same life that I gave Cleopatra and Cheetah.
Thank you,
Scott Learned
