About me:
Last year I began a quest to attempt to manage work, family as well as add the additional task of training for and running a marathon. I found that while training my thoughts often reverted back to some of my fallen comrades that I have served with as an Army Ranger. Moreover how my family, friends and I will be forever indebted to their sacrifice. After the completion of my first marathon I ran a second. From there I knew it was time to take my quest to another level. It was time to give back, though it be miniscule compared to what my brothers have given, it was time to give to what they left behind.
This year I have completed three marathons,the Snickers Energy Bar Marathon on the 7th of March 2009 in Albany, GA, The Mystery Mountain Marathon on the 11th of October 2009 in Fort Moutnain, GA, and the ING NYC Marathon on the 1st of November 2009. I have also completed three ultra marathons, the Sweet H2O 50k in Lithia Springs, GA on the 30th of May 2009 and the JFK 50 Miler in Boonsboro, MD on the 21st of November 2009 and the Pine Mountain 40 Miler in Pine Mountain, GA on the 6th of December 2009. I also completed a local reverse sprint triathlon on the 6th of June 2009 on Fort Benning, GA. My total running mileage thusfar this year in training and races is over 2020 miles and still climbing.

My overall monetary goal to meet for this year is $5000 in honor of my fallen brothers in arms. Any donations are greatly appreciated.
