Thank you for visiting our family fundraising page!
Thank you, thank you, thank you to our generous friends and family! What an amazing response we have had. We met our targets and then some. In fact, the support was so amazing that we decided to match all of your wonderful dontions. Due to your generous contributions, we raised more money than anyone! Thank you again and Reese looks forward to attending Kids Camp this summmer (as well as Family Camp).
The DYF will continue taking donations for this great cause until mid July. And, we will to match all donations that are made to Reese's page.
We added a new photo to the left. The photo is from the Families in the Forest Walk. You can see the supportive group that we had (Cathy, GC, Jace, Reese & Dayna).
The Bear Skin Meadows Camp is run by the Diabteic Youth Foundation. This camp and is unbelievable and changes the lives of everyone that attends. In fact, not only are we going to family camp again this summer, but Reese is also attending the kids camp on her own. She has already made life long friends, and we have all found a support group with an amazing amount of insight into the diabetic lifestyle.
The Diabetic Youth Foundation (DYF) has made a huge difference in our lives and the lives of thousands of children, teens and families affected by diabetes. During their programs participants receive the latest information on proper diabetes management. We also receive updates on diabetes technology and advances in research.
Most importantly, we meet others affected by diabetes and who share our same life experiences. DYF's endless encouragement, life saving diabetes education and loving care has inspired me to turn the challenges of living with diabetes into opportunities of a lifetime! Please join us in supporting this wonderful organization by making a donation today. Your support will help many more children, teens and families benefit from DYF's outstanding programs, including their Bearskin Meadow Camp!
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to our fundraising efforts. For more information about the Diabetic Youth Foundation please check out their website at www.dyf.org Until then, many thanks for your support, your friendship and your encouragement. Your gift will help to improve the lives of thousands of children and teens living with diabetes today and for those yet to come.
Whether you donate or not, we would love to have you participate in this walk with us. If interested, our team name is Team Wheels, and the walk is on April 18, 2010 in Roseville.
Thank you!
