Please join us in support of Super Baskets of Hope at Riley Children's Foundation. Super Baskets of Hope will deliver 7,000 baskets filled with inspirational and entertainment items to critically ill children and families in hospitals in every NFL city – including Riley Hospital – and throughout Indiana. Through this project, Riley Children’s Foundation wants to provide thousands of children and their families comfort and support as they deal with medical challenges and to use a worldwide platform to raise awareness about pediatric health issues.
The baskets will contain an array of donated items including: caps from Lids for every child’s home team; Notre Dame footballs; Colts water bottles; Indiana Pacers/Indiana Fever basketballs; Vera Bradley journals; software from Musical DNA; Pillow Pets provided by KLOVE radio in honor of the late Riley patient Jacob McConahay; Tony and Lauren Dungy’s latest children’s book; and five games from Fundex. Tote bags will also be given to families with spiritually uplifting and comforting books and CDs. A major donation from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans funded these items.
You can be a part of this project by making a donation! The Super Baskets of Hope fund at Riley Children’s Foundation will be used to purchase items for the baskets and pay for costs related to assembly, delivery and program promotion. Any funds remaining in the Super Baskets of Hope fund will be donated to Riley Hospital’s Child Life program. Your donations will make the Super Baskets of Hope project possible!
