Sean Caron's Fundraising Page
Dear Friends and Family:
Victory
On April 20th, I completed my first marathon in 4:36. I came in 20, 272 place. My bib number was 24143.
Background
The reason I am running the marathon is to help MBHP provide assistance to families and persons with disabilities at risk of homelessness. MBHP's programs and initiatives strive to prevent homelessness, foster economic self-sufficiency, and ensure housing stability. Click here to read more about MBHP's programs and success stories.
Thank you very much to the many friends who have contributed to my MBHP/marathon fundraising efforts. If you haven't already made a donation and would like to, please visit https://www.firstgiving.com/seancaron or send a check made out to MBHP to Sean Caron, 20 Ship Ave. #42, Medford, MA 02155.
Training Update (April 2nd)
On Saturday, March 28th, I ran just under 20 miles in 3 hrs and 10 mins, along the hilly coastline in Truro and Wellfeleet. That was my last long run until the marathon, as I've begun a period of rest in the training (only 20 miles/week).
Red Sky Event
Thank you very much for making the Red Sky event a tremendous success. We had over 40 people attend and raised $1,267. I want to especially thank Ed from Red Sky, Chris Schlesinger from East Coast Grill, Mandy Eysie and Kate Feeney for donating prizes, and Rennie and Carla from MBHP for helping put the event together.
Best Wishes,
Sean Caron
