Sean George- Triathlete for Trisomy
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for HOPE FOR TRISOMY 13 AND 18 INC!
Since I started training in 2007 for my first triathlon, I have wanted my efforts to promote more than just my own health & well-being. In 2011 I am going to attempt my first Half-Iron distance (70.3 miles) triathlon event, and I want to give people the opportunity to support a cause I hold dear-- HOPE FOR TRISOMY 13 AND 18, INC.
For those of you who don’t know, I selected this cause because my first son, Ethan, was born with Trisomy 13 in November 1999, and died in January 2000. I'm setting my goal at $703 for 70.3 miles I will be covering in the race, but it also coincides with the 7 weeks that Ethan lived. Of course exceeding the goal would be even better.
