As you all know, I love animals.  I also know many of you do as well.  I've been working with the Hawaiian Humane Society for a little over a year now and I have to admit, working here is very rewarding.

We have a few fundraising events throughout the year, but the Hawaiian Humane Society's "Petwalk" is by far the biggest and I feel the most exciting.  Ala Moana Park opens its park up to our beloved animals for just this one day.  People come from all over the island to bring their animals and tourist will even schedule their vacations to coincide with this event.  It is by far our biggest fundraising event of the year and without you, our patrons, we would be nowhere.

I want to thank you so much for everything you do to help the Humane Societies around the U.S. and for those of you here in Hawaii I send a most sincere "Mahalo Nui Loa"
