Last year our team of 12 climbers raised $170,000 for Duchenne research by climbing Mt. Rainier.  This year we have assembled teams across the U.S. to "Pick Your Peak" and raise money for research by climbing a mountain, hiking a trail, or climbing a tall building...all on June 19 & 20.

We want to get as many teams as possible to get out there and raise awareness and money to find a cure for DMD!  This is a great chance for us to come together and climb for the boys who can’t.  Imagine teams across the country shouting from the mountain tops about the need for Duchenne muscular dystrophy research.

CureDuchenne has been a good steward of the funding we've received over the years.  We have three funding projects in phase 2 or 3 human clinical trials, and we are hopeful that our more recent projects will enter the clinic in 2011.  All funds from this climbing event will go toward research.
