On September 22, 2007, Tess was diagnosed with Hepatoblastoma, a rare liver cancer, at the age of 7 months.  After 4 major surgeries, 6 rounds of chemotherapy, and a countless # of blood transfusions, Tess is currently doing fantastic.  This is due to the expertise and care from the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.

The Dana Farber Cancer Institute continues to help make a difference in the lives of people like Tess, as 100% of all proceeds go towards cancer research. Each and every person affected by cancer has reason to hope because great advances are being made.  Tess is living proof!

However, continued research is essential as one in two men and one in three women will get cancer in their lifetime.
