By supporting my involvement in the Harpoon Point to Point you are making a considerable impact to the work of the Vermont Foodbank.

The Vermont Foodbank was founded in 1986 in response to an increase in food insecurity and the need for emergency food assistance among low income households in Vermont. Today, as the state’s largest hunger-relief organization, the Vermont Foodbank has more than 280 member agencies statewide. The Foodbank assists an estimated one-in-ten Vermonters each year by distributing nearly 7.5 million pounds of donated, purchased and harvested food.

For every $10 donated, the Vermont Foodbank is able to acquire and distribute 25 pounds of food, or nearly 20 meals to those in need.
