RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE AT STANFORD

Team RMH 2009 California

Sean Steele's Fundraising Page

Thanks for stopping by.  Let me just say that I hate, HATE running.  Those of you who ran with, or more appropriately, in front of me in high school can attest to this.  It's painful, boring and should only be done when the flight response is triggered.

So, why and I doing this?  At this point I'm not sure, but I think it has something to do with the awesome services that the Ronald McDonald House Charities provide.

If you're not familiar with RMH I recommend taking a look at their site to get the full scope of the services they make available to families.  In a very narrow sense they provide a place to stay (like a hotel) to families who have children in a hospitial, usually a specialty center.  Although it costs ~$95.00 per night to provide a room they only ask for a $10.00 donation, which the family is not required to pay.  They have more important things to worry about, frankly.

My company, Telosa Software, has teamed up with the Ronald McDonald House to raise money for this great organization.  Please consider sponsoring me at any level.  If you donate $100.00 or more you are automatically entered into a drawing for a trip for two.  The winner gets airfare for two within the contiguous 48 states on American Airlines and a gift certificate for a 2 night stay at any Kimpton Hotel.  Tell you what, I'll sweeten the deal for those of you with kids.  If you donate $200.00 or more AND win the trip, Deb and I will watch your kids for those two nights.  As long as you can drop off and pick up the kids we're good to go.

Here's the formal jibba-jabba:
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.

Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!

Peace!

Sean
