Skylar Weinerman was born on 5/5/05 (doesn't get easier to remember than that).  She was our first child.  When we got the diagnosis at birth, it came as quite a surprise to us.  We immediately embraced our newborn love.  She was always smiling and laughing as an infant and toddler.  We've appreciated each step she has taken and are delighted with each new accomplishment.  She is now 6 years old and an older sister to Maya (4 years old). They are best of friends, at least when they're not fighting like sisters typically do.  Skylar enjoys playing on the computer and ipad, she loves music, and enjoys dancing.  She is a spirited little girl.  We're so proud of our daughter, Skylar, and look forward to being part of her many accomplishments.
