HOOD's Big Wheel Adventure
Remember being a kid in the glorious 80's? Rolling round your block like you owned the place in your own Kit Knight Rider big wheel or maybe a General Lee look-a-like big wheel? Pulling up the lever on the back wheel and doing some massive skid-outs? Boy I sure do, best.days.of.my.life. Wind blowing through your hair and rocking vans and jams! Not a care in the world...no mortgage, car payment or student loans. Just you and your big wheel...easyrider for 7 year-olds. AWESOME or should I say RADICAL or WICKED.
You only stopped for a few things, 1. It got dark 2. your mom called you in for a lunch of PB&J and Cheetos!
Well pull out your vans and squeeze into some jams. TYPros is holding a big-wheel race to benefit the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma!. Full grown adults - you - will be racing big-wheels down a hill where there might be or might-not be a ramp at the end for some glorious and triumphant air!
There are two bits of awesomeness here!
1. You get to race a big-wheel down a hill, reaching insane speeds and reliving the glory days of your youth.
2. You get to do it all in the name of helping the hungry.
While the only thing that might have gotten you off your big-wheel when you were a kid were cheeto stuffed PB&J sandwhiches, not all people are that fortunate. The Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma is an organization that feeds 60,000 people each week. A donation of ten dollars will provide 70 meals. Help me provide that lunch for another child during their summers of big-wheel explorations by pledging to donate 10 dollars and if you are so inclined, sign up to race as well. We ask that those who want to experience the competitive thrill of break-neck speeds on a big wheel raise $100 dollars in donations, or $10 from 10 friends. It is that easy!
Thanks guys!
