The Be Love Bus joins forces with The Keep A Breast Foundation
Musician Cindy Santini and Pro Surfers Rochelle Ballard and Leah Dawson venture to Australia to meet with Serena Brooke on a mission to spread their passion for life and raise awareness for breast cancer.
HALEIWA, HAWAII February 16, 2010- In an effort to inspire their peers to live happy, healthy lifestyles, the Be Love Bus crew will embark on a maiden voyage on Febuary 23rd up the East Coast of Australia. Embarking on this three week journey through surf communities of Australia is singer - songwriter Cindy Santini, Pro Surfer and Yogini Rochelle Ballard, Pro Surfer and Filmmaker Leah Dawson, and Australian Pro Surfer and Humanitarian Serena Brooke. With the support of Taylor Guitars, SIMR Surfboards, Wicked Campers, Noelani Designs and Nalu Ukulele Company the friends will host open mic performances, yoga classes, surf lessons, and a raffle, with all donations and proceeds going to their fundraiser for The Keep A Breast Foundation with a goal of $10,000.
The bus will journey from Sydney to Noosa Heads, on a three-week adventure, as they explore life on the road sharing their passions of music, surfing, yoga and philanthropy including a showcase at the Roxy/Quiksilver Pro Surfing Contest at Snapper Rocks, March 4-9. The group of passionate women will be spreading the word about breast cancer prevention, early detection, and the importance of living a healthy toxic free lifestyle on their journey while encouraging young people to keep a positive mind, body, and soul.
"This project is a dream come true for me.” Says Leah Dawson “It will be my first time on Australian soil, and I can't fathom a better way to see it. Having Keep A Breast as our partner makes the trip just that much more exciting because not only do we get to travel and do what we are passionate about, but we get to do it for a cause, and for the betterment of the human society."
