Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!  I will be traveling to Cuzco, Peru for four weeks at the end of August where I will be working in a state orphanage for children between the ages of 1 and 18.  I will be assisting in taking care of the household, helping children with their homework, and organizing recreational activities (I'm always down for a little song and dance!).  I feel truly lucky to be given the opportunity to experience Peruvian culture and hopefully share part of myself with the locals as well.  I plan on taking lots of pictures, writing endlessly, and keeping a travel blog to document my experiences.  Hopefully this is just the first of many volunteer travel experiences.

While I am continuing to work up until the time I leave, the cost of the program isn't cheap.  The cost of the program is over $2,000 plus the cost of airfare, which is due by the 1st of August.  Even $1 will bring me closer to my rewarding traveling experience, and your donation is tax deductible.  Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure.  It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
