My 5 yr old son, Logan, was born with a heart defect. His pulmonary valve wasn't open properly. He had a heart cath @ 1 1/2 months old to open the valve up. We found out when he was around 2 yrs of age that he had a blockage near his aortic valve. He recently had open heart surgery on 5/10/10 to remove the blockage. He is doing much better now.

I am teaming up with Samaritan's Purse to raise money for the "Children's Heart Project" in honor of Logan. I would to help bring children from other countries here to have surgery to fix their hearts like my son's heart was fixed.

I encourage everyone to check out samaritan's purse and also to pray about donating your money to this project.

The money goes to Samaritan's  Purse for the purchase of plane tickets for the children, parents, & a translator  to come to the United States to have surgery. They stay with a host family for 5 to 6 weeks and a host church helps them with the process.
