All right - its time for me to put up or shut up.  

Mountain to Mountain is the beneficiary for this year's inaugural Breck Epic.  A grueling 6 day mountain bike stage race, July 5-10.   As the Executive Director of Mountain to Mountain and a singlespeed  mountain bike rider, its a little daunting to race one of the toughest races in the country for 6 days in a row.  Luckily for me, we created Team M2M to allow the 6 days to be shared.  So I'll race one, maybe two, days out of the six on my bright orange singlespeed Niner.  The ED can't sit out of this one!

Think it sounds easy?  Here's a quote from Breck Epic's website: "The courses will be long. They will be difficult. 90% of the terrain will be above 10,000 feet. Cut-off times will be strictly enforced. You could end up seriously hurt, having to sell what's left of your bike and pay off your hospital bills by inspecting socks and underwear with your one good arm. At night."  "If the course were a person it would be dressed in black leather and brandishing something nasty."

So, EVERY little bit helps.  Help me reach my goal and if we make it I'll commit to riding the entire Breck Epic next year on my singlespeed.
