Here we go again!!!

September 25, 2010.  33nd annual Walk for the Animals

This will be the 8th year we've walked. We're very excited to have the walk return to the Reading Phillies Stadium.  Last year we raised a total of $465 thanks to you!  Sp of course we want to try to raise as much as we can ...we can't do it alone!

Once again, Cohen, Seth and now Lincoln, will be walking with us.  And no, Shannon is NOT pregnant this year! :D

Last year over $115,000 was raised!  We want to help hit that again and we need your help to do it!  A staggering 56% of dogs and 71% of cats that enter animal shelters are euthanized. Only 15% of dogs and 2% of cats that enter animal shelters are reunited with their owners. Only 25% of dogs and 24% of cats that enter animal shelters are adopted. It is widely accepted that 9.6 million animals are euthanized annually in the United States. Help us help the humane society to get more animals homes instead of a needle!

Over the years you've helped this event go from a few hundred when we first started in 2003 to over 3500 walkers last year!!! 

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to our fundraising efforts.  Any amount, even a dollar, can really help the animals out.
